1. Freelancing for Karibu, a “Magazine for Zanzibar Commission for Tourism”. I’ll be writing a piece on Chumbe Island, and including some photos of my own.
2. Learning Swahili. I recently learned that I have to add 6 hours to the time to communicate ‘real’ Zanzibar time.
3. Writing scientific journal articles. Right now I’m working on an article that describes how Indonesian fishermen understood and responded to a satellite image.
